Did you know that in the last year Epworth Children’s Home gave 174 children a safe and loving place to call home? Each of these children had this opportunity because of United Methodist churches in South Carolina who embrace and provide for this ministry in support of the children and families in our state. We will participate in the annual Mother’s Day Offering on Sunday, May 12th, 2019, to benefit the children who call Epworth home. Please be in prayerful consideration of what God is calling you to give to this valuable and life changing ministry. Exterior doors to our church buildings continue to be left unlocked. This leaves our facilities open for unauthorized access and can result in damages and losses. Please be mindful if you are responsible for an event or meeting that lights should be turned off and ALL doors locked.

Evengers Assemble!
We’re looking for folks who would like to join our Student Leadership Team, The Evengers. We have many Evengers graduating this year, and we’ll need to fill their spots! Let’s clear up a misconception: being a student leader does NOT require you to speak in front of large groups of people. Leadership comes in many forms, and we have lots of things that need to be done “behind the scenes”. We Evengers are a tight knit group that has loads of fun doing things together for the glory of God and for our Youth of Union! Consider joining us! Email Eleanor for an application! Eleanor@unionunitedmethodist.org Applications deadline is April 25th.

To respond to congregational interest, the Union Board of Trustees has created an exploratory or feasibility committee to determine interest level in a Columbarium at Union. We sent a formal interest survey to all church members in January 2018.
