WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD HELPERS!
Children’s Church meet each Sunday (except 1st Sunday for communion) during both worship services. We could use your help leading a short lesson that is provided for our children, during this special time. If you are willing to serve in this area about once a quarter, please let Meghan Thompson or Michelle Cochcroft know. You will serve with one other person and you will both receive an email with basic instructions the week you are scheduled to serve. It is easy and a lot of fun getting to know these precious children! Thank you for considering this ministry opportunity! Contact Information:

Michelle Cochcroft - scheduling for 11:10am worship - mgcochcroft@gmail.com

GRIEFSHARE
meets on Wednesday at 6:30 pm in Rm 214-Educ Bldg. Our topic this week is about the “Challenges of Grief”. We will discuss how grief affects the mind, body & spirit and how to get things done even when we don’t feel like we have any energy left to meet the everyday struggles. More info about our GriefShare program can be found on our UUMC website & at www.griefshare.org.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
If inclement weather should occur that causes conditions to be unsafe for the members to attend worship services or other church functions, information will be obtained from the Sheriff’s Dept., S.C. Highway Dept, and the Weather Station. Then a decision will be made. Cancellation information will be placed on the TV report, Union’s Facebook Page and the church phone message at 781-3013. If the church line is busy when you call, please try again.

COLUMBARIUM INFORMATION
To respond to congregational interest, the Union Board of Trustees has created an exploratory or feasibility committee to determine interest level in a Columbarium at Union. We sent a formal interest survey to all church members in January 2018.
