BE A WITNESS TO FITNESS IN 2018!
Join us on the walking track Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays @ 5-6pm each week as we get our bodies fit!

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? —1 Corinthians 6:19

The track will be open for all ages, shapes, genders, parents with strollers, etc. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The entry point will be at the back of the FMC at the tower door. There will be a sign in sheet at the base of the tower stairs, then you may go up those stairs to the walking track. Come get some exercise, have fun while doing it, and have some accountability partners! If you have any questions, please contact Monica Crodian, 917-1892.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The United Methodist state basketball tournament will be held in Columbia January 19th-21st. Union is one of the host sites. Workers are needed on Friday from 4-9 PM, and Saturday from 9AM-9PM. Check-in teams on Friday, Site coordinators, ticket takers, scorers and clock operators on both days are just some of the available tasks. We have 2 gyms to man, and may be called on to assist at Shady Grove UMC. If you have 2-4 hours you could commit, this is a great way to kick off your volunteer hours in 2018. If you can find the time, please let either Bill Gray, at 457-1823, or Caroline Peay, at 528-1918 know. Thank you for all you can do for the youth of the state.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
If inclement weather should occur that causes conditions to be unsafe for the members to attend worship services or other church functions, information will be obtained from the Sheriff’s Dept., S.C. Highway Dept, and the Weather Station. Then a decision will be made. Cancellation information will be placed on the TV report, Union’s Facebook Page and the church phone message at 781-3013. If the church line is busy when you call, please try again.

COLUMBARIUM INFORMATION
To respond to congregational interest, the Union Board of Trustees has created an exploratory or feasibility committee to determine interest level in a Columbarium at Union. We plan to send a formal interest survey to all church members in January 2018.
