Please sign up your whole family for as many nights as you can. Remember, we need to fill at least 500 roles during the 3 nights which means WE NEED YOU!

Many people will be needed to help construct our backyard Bethlehem. Construction will take place on all the weekends in November, so look for more information about how you and your family can help build the setting for The Living Christmas Story. This is a BIG job but also a BIG BLESSING for the thousands of people who drive through each year and for our church members who work together to make the birth of our Savior come to life. There is a place and job for EVERYONE!

UNITY CHOIR
The Spirited Singers are now the Unity Choir! The Unity Choir is a project-based choir much like the Summer Choir. ALL are welcome to participate, regardless of age or choral singing experience. Children 5th grade and under are encouraged to sing with an accompanying adult. The group will lead worship several times a year and follow a set schedule which is in this month’s newsletter. Each time this happens there will be a rehearsal on Wednesday night from 7:30 until about 8:15 in the Choir Room. Then we will lead 9:00 worship together on Sunday morning. Each week is separate from the others, so it is possible to sing for selected Sundays. Questions? Contact Don Kirkindoll, Director of Music Ministries: don@unionunitedmethodist.org. I hope to see YOU in the Unity Choir!!

IT IS TIME… TO REPLACE CHOIR ROBES!
UUMC’s adult choir robes are over 22 years old and are fabricated using a heavy “unbreathable” polyester material. Not only are the robes careworn, but also they are very hot to wear. The new robes will be made with a durable but lighter-weight, cooler material. Monetary donations are needed - and are much appreciated - to help defray the costs of new robes for Adult Choir members, Bell Ringers, and Acolytes.By ordering in October 2018, we will receive a 15% discount off the total cost, so please donate soon! Remember to earmark your gifts to “UUMC Choir Robe Fund” for accurate accounting. Thank you to our church family for your continued love and support!
